k.e.y.s - classes & workshops

Kingdom Economics Youth Services (K.E.Y.S) are financial workshops for ages 10 - 21. At Kingdom Economics we understand that our youth are our future and its vital that they have a healthy understanding and perspective of finances to have a thriving financial future. These classes and workshops are aimed to assist in building a solid foundation and understanding of personal finance, and provide a roadmap towards a financially healthy life.

K.E.Y.S - “Comfortable Being Uncomfortable” workshops are tailored to empower youth to make the decision to become a financially healthy and responsible adult. Our focus is to provide our youth with tools to make sound financial choices in their everyday lives that support their vision of financial success. Comfortable being uncomfortable means taking a stand and standing out from the crowd when it comes to financial decisions and choices. It means having the courage to be comfortable with the decision to steward finances in a way that promotes financial health and wealth, with the understanding that their decision to be financially unique may make their peers and those around them uncomfortable.

K.E.Y.S - “Comfortable Being Uncomfortable - A Day In Real Life workshop gives youth the opportunity to expierience what it would be like to manage finances as a financially responsible adult. Each participant will be given a monthly salary, establish a monthly budget and determine the following based on workshop scenarios presented: what monthly obligations are necessities or wants, what purchases are necessary and unnecessary, and choosing when to save or borrow money when making a major purchases. This workshop requires youth to use critial thinking skills while making money decisions and managing finances.

K.E.Y.S - “Comfortable Being Uncomfortable - Money on My Mind workshop addresses myths and realities concerning finances and the impact they have on our youth. In many households financial conversations are sensitive, uncomfortable or rare. Often times youth are excluded from these conversations and are left to piece together the path to financial health and wealth from various sources. Each participant will have the opportunity to discuss future aspirations, map out pathways to reach those aspirations and how to prepare financially for a brighter future.
